Dear Friends,
As you probably have already heard and read, Ahavas Olam has made some exciting strides in recent weeks toward realizing our vision for a beautiful, new facility for the Torah Center. With funding secured and the contractor eager to begin work, we are thrilled to invite the Olam and the entire community to participate in a Groundbreaking Event this Sunday afternoon, May 18th at the site of the new building on Ten Mile Road.
In addition to serving as an opportunity for our Olam to celebrate this momentous step, this event also demonstrates to the community and our benefactors that the Torah Center is moving forward B’ezras Hashem from dream stage to reality.
The event is scheduled from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Please encourage your friends, relatives and neighbors to join us on this special day, as every individual and family will contribute greatly to its success. There will be a brief ceremony at 3:00 but, for the most part, the event will be an informal opportunity to view the building, take pictures, and enjoy some refreshments. Please note that this will be a “kid-friendly” event, with refreshments and souvenirs for children.
As always, there is great need for volunteers to ensure a successful and smoothly-run event. If you are available to offer your time, resources, or assistance before, during or after the event, please call or email Aharon Elchonen or Nosson Stoll.
